We're working on a textile and food garden
You are invited to garden with us on 17 Aug from 10am
After spending an afternoon dipping our T-shirts and yarn in a dye-bath made of flowers and spare food, we imagined having a dedicated space where we could grow the best plants for clothing dye, and even host workshops outdoors.

Over the past few months, we have been spending time at a place we visited a lot - our community garden in East London. We quickly realised it had been left unkept, whilst being described as the most “un - derelict” derelict sites, as we came across blackberries ready to eat, ripe melons and pumpkins - contrasting the knee high weeds and grass.
Since, we’ve managed to get the lawn mowed, clear a few plots, harvest tasty fruits and veg and unlock our shed.
This Sunday, 17th August, we would like to invite you to garden with us. We will have drinks from Karma, snacks, whilst we spend the day propagating new plants, harvesting and clearing plots.
If you are free and want to join us, complete this form - or reply back to info@colechi.com with your RSVP.
